My husband and I have become American Idol fans. I knew it was coming when we became addicted to Dancing with the Stars last season. We had to have an excuse to watch Emmitt dance his way to the top. So now, to fill that void, we watch AI.
We are in shock each week when Sanjaya remains in the mix. HOW? The kid can't carry a tune in a bucket. Each week his hair screams to be cut. The boy just has too much hair.
Last night we developed a theory on what we think is how he remains on the show while singers with much more talent are heading home. Our theory is all those middle eastern call centers, you know the ones you get when you need someone who speaks english to explain why you will billed twice for that suishi on your charge card, yeah them. Well they have nothing to do at o dark thirty in India. So they get the show on satellite in the middle of the night and spend their work time calling in to keep him on the show. That's got to be it. It's the only way.
