It's been an up and down week. I had the most fabulous time with the girls in NC. Every girl should get to do that at least once in her lifetime with her friends. Yet my heart is torn over the recent murders in our community. We knew the couple and our middle son is a close friend of their daughter. All who knew them are grieving the loss.
I am glad to see they have caught most of the people involved. Tomorrow my son comes home to help his friend bury her parents. My heart breaks for her, as I know how close she was to her parents, especially her mom. You rarely saw one without the other.
It is a senseless tragedy.
