Hump Day!

It's hump day and I couldn't be happier! We are supposed to get cooler weather this weekend, and it can't get here soon enough for me! 77 degrees is not Christmas weather!
Last night it was nice tho as we sat on the deck of the Oar House for dinner. It was a girls' night out, Linda, Barbie, Debbie and I drank margaritas, ate fish and tried to solve the problems of the world. We left full, happy and world problems still unsolved. Oh well two out of three isn't bad!
The Oar House was founded by "Jezebel" who during WWII had a little restaurant with benefits. Jezebel fell in love with a sailor on his way to war. While he was gone she cleaned up the restaurant, served food and pined for him. But he never returned. One day while walking the docks in sadness, Jezebel came upon a fish who told her to drink his magic concoction, jump from the bridge and he would take her to her sailor who now lived in the sea as a fish. So Jezelbel did this and lived happily ever after with her true love, the sailor, swimming in the sea. BTW, Jezelbel did not become a mermaid, just the opposite, she is a fish with legs!
No we didn't make that up after the evening of margaritas, it's true story!
I'm off to work today and nothing fun planned afterwards. I did enjoy last night it was so nice to just sit on the deck, watch the barges go by and chat with the girls. Life is good.
